LOCK AND LOAD: TIE-INS, LOCK-OFFS AND UPLINE MANAGEMENT
Unlock the potential of your patterned ties as you transition from ground to air! Before delving into suspensions, let's explore the art of seamlessly integrating suspension lines into body ties and effectively securing them at your hard point. Gain insights into how different tie-ins can influence and enhance the wraps within your patterned ties. Our class goes beyond theory, offering practical techniques for tying off your suspension lines, taking into account the size of your hard point and the rope's end location. Discover various methods that cater to different scenarios, providing you with a versatile skill set. To attend, each tying pair (one to tie, one to be tied) is required to acquire a single ticket. This workshop is capped at 20 tying pairs.
Prerequisite for this workshop:
• Bring an open mind and ready to learn.
• Bring a full suspension kit; at least 10 x 26-30 foot lengths of suspension worthy rope, 6+ weight rated climbing carabiners, and safety essentials.
• Bring a barrier to place between you and the floor.
• Bring a bottle of water with a sealable top for hydration.
• Participants should have a working knowledge of suspendable chest harness and hip harness.

ROPE BOTTOMING ESSENTIALS: ONE DAY INTENSIVE
Join Natalie Rose for an immersive one-day intensive, condensing the comprehensive Bottoming in Rope 101, 201, 301, and 401 series into six empowering hours. This workshop is thoughtfully crafted to center and empower rope bottoms, providing a journey from introductory concepts all the way to dynamic transition suspensions.
Delve into a range of topics including vetting potential rope play partners, effective negotiation techniques, mental and physical preparation for rope, distinguishing between sensations of comfort and discomfort, open communication during rope play, mindful breathing, and maintaining control over your body even while bound. Gain valuable insights into muscle control and body positioning during transitions in suspension.
While every rope journey is unique, Nat will share invaluable tips garnered from years of experience. Attendees who plan to tie should be proficient in constructing a sustainable, repeatable 10-15 minute suspension-based scene, and should bring a minimum of 12 lengths of suspension-worthy rope along with their preferred suspension equipment. The presenters will assess ties and upline proficiency for the safety of all attendees. Those who do not meet the criteria may be asked to audit that portion of the class.
For those unable to meet the tying prerequisites, we welcome you to attend and tie to your own skill level. Bring a notebook and pen to capture insights that will enrich your rope journey. Solo attendees are also encouraged to join and audit the class.
Kindly note that this workshop is exclusively focused on and for rope bottoms. Presenters will not cover patterned ties, upline management, or proper tie-offs. If your ties and uplines do not meet the safety criteria, you may be asked to refrain from participating in that particular segment. This inclusive workshop is curated to provide a secure, enriching, and empowering experience for all attendees, whether you are the person being tied or the person doing the tying. Even if you choose to audit the class, or tie to your current skill level and take notes as the curriculum extends beyond your current knowledge, you are valued and included in this transformative learning experience. Join us in celebrating diversity, empowerment, and safety in rope bondage.
