Who is Ron Swanson?

Ron Swanson is a nonbinary butch sadist whose primary kink interests are rope and sharps. Ron is a graduate of and instructor for Bondage Soup, a 12-month progressive rope education program, and loves tying with people of all different shapes, sizes, and abilities. Ron's background in the mental health field informs their desire to "hurt not harm" and to create space with others that is as physically, emotionally, and psychologically safe as possible. Ron has been known to switch "for science!" to better understand the experience of those they get to torment. Ron's topping style is much less regimented or formal than some, and they generally tie in a collaborative and intuitive way, tailoring the experience to each person. 

A note about my pricing: I have chosen to utilize a tiered pricing structure, so that those who face systemic barriers and oppression may be more able to access my services. 

Rate 1 - $150  Please consider paying this rate if you do not regularly experience systemic oppression, and you are able to utilize your privilege to support other people accessing this space and my services. 

Rate 2 - $125 

Rate 3 - $100  This rate is for those who regularly experience discrimination, oppression, and access barriers - particularly BIPOC, trans people, and folks with disabilities.

Conroy (He/They). Rope is more than a practice for me. It is a lifelong pursuit. I am drawn to every aspect of it: tying, photographing, collaborating, performing, and meeting others who share the same passion. Every time I pick up a rope, I see an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.

I approach my work as a gentleman. Respect, courtesy, and kindness guide how I treat people. Being a Dominant does not change that. I believe titles do not define us. Character is shown through how we show up for one another.

Even after years of tying, I still think of myself as a student. I practice every day because rope keeps me grounded, curious, and inspired. I believe that skill in rope is never just about the knots. It is about the trust, presence, and connection created between partners.

Sharing rope with Natalie Rose has shaped much of my journey. Her trust and surrender remain an honor for me to receive and remind me why rope is meaningful. It is not simply a technique. It is a way to communicate, build connection, and create experiences that leave a lasting impression.

As an educator and performer, I bring this same philosophy to every class and scene. Whether you are new to rope or deepening your skills, my focus is to share knowledge with patience and respect, to encourage curiosity, and to create spaces where learning and connection can thrive.

Rion “Riot” Rhodes (They/She) is a kink and sex educator, weightlifting coach, board-certified counselor, athlete, and performer, dedicated to helping people find the confluence of physical, mental, and sexual health.

Though they made a name for themselves as an educator with classes like "Ass Like That" and "Fellatio 2.0," their unique background in competitive athletics, mental health counseling, and crisis intervention keeps their teaching style both grounded in the physical body and acutely aware of the infinite ways human beings can give, receive, and process sensation, pleasure, and connection.

Rion’s style is distinctly comfortable, goofy, compassionate, and trauma-informed.

Etch (She/Her) is a rope bottom and 24/7 lifestyle power exchange submissive who brings intentionality, curiosity, and a deep love of embodiment to her work in kink education. Active in the Portland kink community since 2015, she has presented as a rope and impact bottom at a wide range of events.

Etch specializes in the emotional, physical, and energetic experiences of bottoming. Her presence as a demo bottom reflects a commitment to consent-forward, self-aware play, and she offers students a grounded model of what it looks like to show up in rope with trust, presence, and autonomy.

In and out of the classroom, she believes in the magic of chosen suffering, the ritual of surrender, and the transformative power of connection through kink.

KnottyLilBrat “AppleBee” (She/Her) began her rope journey in February 2024 and has been exploring ever since. Before meeting Nat, she had never experienced rope, but quickly found herself drawn to the creativity, curiosity, and trust it inspires. She especially loves the presence that rope brings — the way it creates focus, grounding, and connection in each tie. Together, their motto is “for science!” a reminder that every scene is an experiment in learning and growth.

MxJosiePosie (They/Them), Josie is a fat, queer switch based in Portland, OR, originally hailing from Kentucky. They have a passion for teaching and tying rope, approaching their practice with a collaborative and connective style. Josie is dedicated to fostering more comfortable rope spaces for fat, disabled, queer, and neurodiverse individuals through inclusive tying practices and continuous learning.
